Maple Elegance Media Inc. (“Maple Elegance,” “we,” “us”) builds mobile and web applications, including Hush. This policy explains what information our apps collect and how we handle it.

Information we collect

Our apps may collect information you enter directly (such as logs you create) and basic device and usage data needed to operate the app. Specifics for each app are listed in that app’s App Store or Google Play privacy label, and in that product’s own privacy policy, which takes precedence over this general policy. How we use it

We use information solely to provide and improve the app you are using. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising SDKs in our apps.

Data storage and security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information stored by our apps, including encryption of data at rest on our servers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us at the address below. Where an app provides in-product controls for export or deletion, those controls are the fastest route.

Children’s privacy

Our apps are intended for use by adults managing information on behalf of children in their care — for example, parents logging infant care. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

This website

If you submit the contact form on this site, we store the name, email address, category, and message you provide so we can reply. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to rate-limit spam, and the country code your browser presents. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
